The world runs on computers now and it moves faster every day. Technology skills are absolutely necessary to keep up. Too many children grow up lacking these skills, and that can keep them from realizing their potential in school.

Being able to keep up goes beyond the classroom. Things like job applications and looking for a place to live are much harder if you don't know how to do them on the computer, and as more and more work moves into the electronic office, those skills can make the difference in getting the job.
